Super Saltaire Blonde

Saltaire Brewery’s 4% Blonde ale has been breaking records at the brewery over the past two months.

In July, it’s monthly sales were the highest for any Saltaire Brewery product since it commenced brewing in March 2006.

Over 1000 casks have been sold since its recent launch and it regularly makes up over half of each week’s sales.

Managing Director, Paul Simpson, is delighted, “The success of Saltaire Blonde is a great compliment to our brewers, Tony and Derek, who have produced a tasty and refreshing ale. Our customers obviously also have good taste as they have been ordering it again and again.”

The product is also currently featuring on Punch Taverns’ Finest Cask Rotation (where products are made available nationally to Punch). This is the third time Saltaire Brewery have been on Finest Cask following the Summer 2006 promotion on Goldings Ale and the Spring 2007 promotion on Cascade Pale Ale. In just 5 weeks, the rate of sale is three times higher than on previous Finest Cask promotions.

Paul Simpson added, “We are currently having to brew Blonde twice a week in our 20bb plant to keep up with demand – long may it continue!!
