Ilkley RFC shows the best possible ‘taste’!

Ilkley Rugby Football Club are well on their way to raising the necessary funds for their £2m redevelopment. Club members have been asked to raise £800,000, of which over £300,000 is already pledged. This will be made up to £1m through ‘Gift Aid’, with the remainder of the funding coming through potential RFU funding, Government backed Sports Development programmes and contributions from corporate sponsors

Saltaire Brewery has agreed to assist the Under 11’s (parents!) with a Charity Beer Tasting Evening to be held at the brewery this Friday, 29th February. The event will be hosted by Tony Gartland, Head Brewer at Saltaire Brewery, and will feature four cask ales and half a dozen international bottled beers. Tony said, “Rugby followers have long been appreciative of fine real ales, so we’re sure that this event will be great fun for all involved, whilst of course, helping to raise money for a very worthy cause.”
